Amethyst (AM)
Amethyst is the clear purple, mauve or violet form of the mineral Quartz. Quartz is a crystalline rock or mineral composed of silicon dioxide.

Black Agate (BA) & Grey Agate (GY)
Agate is the compact, microcrystalline variety of quartz. They are characterized for the most part by coloured bands in a concentric form such as Black (BA), Grey (GY) and White (WA).

Blue (BJ) & White Jade (WJ)
Jade is an ornamental stone used to define two different minerals having similar appearance but different chemical composition, jadeite and nephrite. Nephrite is usually only green and creamy white, while jadeite can have the full range of jade's colours.

Black Rhodium Plate (BRP)
Black colour plated finish.

Cubic Zirconia (CZ)
Cubic zirconia is a synthetic stone. It is the oxide of the metallic element zirconium. Zirconium dioxide, known as baddeleyite, is found as a naturally occuring mineral. Cubic Zirconia can be found in different colours when chemicals are added.

Freshwater Pearl (FP) & Grey Pearl (GP)
Pearl is a concretion formed by a mollusc and consists of the same material as the mollusc’s shell. The freshwater pearls (FP) have the same lustre and vitality as marine pearls and come in different colours such as black (BP) and grey (GP).

High Polish (HP)
High polished finish is a flawless mirror finish applied by using a hard polishing mop.

Mother of Pearl (MP)
This is the lining of the shell of tropical shellfish and colours can vary from greyish blue and pink to purple and green. Mother of Pearl is naturally a difficult material to work with but creates a beautiful shimmering effect.

Rose Quartz (RQ)
Rose Quartz has a unique colour and is one of the more popular Quartz varieties. The cause of rose Quartz’s pink tint is thought to be due to tiny impurities of manganese, titanium or ion.

Sandblast (SB)
In sandblasting, fine grains of sand, crushed flint or powdered iron, are projected at high speed onto a surface leaving a design matt finish.

Smokey Quartz (SQ)
Smokey Quartz is one of the rare brown gemstones. Smokey Quartz occurs in many igneous and metamorphic rocks, particularly in granite and gneiss. Smokey Quartz has a trademark of the smokey brown colour.

Satin (ST)
Satin finish is applied usually by a scotch brite mop can also be applied using a glass brush, emery finish, abrasive block, frosting wheel or flick mop.

Turquoise (TE) & White Enamel (WE)
A man-made material that takes a pigment and a liquid and fuses them together to create different colours. Blue Enamel (BE) and White Enamel (WE).

Turquoise (TQ)
A hydrated phosphate of copper and aluminium, turquoise is prized as a gemstone whose intense blue colour is often mottled with veinlets of brown limonite or black manganese oxide.
